Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between kW and kWh in SigenStack?

kW indicates the instantaneous power the system can deliver or absorb; kWh indicates stored energy. Both values must be sized against the load profile and operating goal.

Can SigenStack work with an existing PV installation?

It depends on the architecture, inverters, metering point and goal. Review the single-line diagram and existing-system compatibility before defining an AC- or DC-coupled solution.

Does SigenStack support industrial backup?

It can form part of compatible backup architectures, but critical loads, starting power, autonomy, switching, protection and Gateway must be defined. The entire installation does not necessarily need backup.

What do I receive when requesting a study?

An indicative proposal covering architecture, power, capacity, main equipment and data still to be validated. The final quotation depends on the project’s technical and commercial information.
