Atmoce: technical questions frequently encountered by support

Answers based on anonymised Atmoce commissioning and after-sales patterns. The final architecture is validated for each project.

What must be confirmed for an Atmoce retrofit with third-party inverters or microinverters?

Confirm the existing system model and phase, AC diagram, power, gateway or EMS, battery, planned backup, metering point and critical loads. The architecture supported by Atmoce must also be verified; electrical coexistence does not automatically imply functional integration.

Why are CTs important in an Atmoce installation?

The system uses metering to interpret import, export and consumption. An incorrect phase, reversed direction, wrong location or a mismatch between CT and phase can cause inconsistent data and incorrect charging or discharging decisions.

What should be checked if the app shows inconsistent production or consumption?

Compare the readings with real measurements and check phases, CT direction and position, configured ratio, communication status and the installation diagram. Provide simultaneous screenshots of PV, grid, consumption, battery and SOC, not only the main screen.

How is backup verified in Atmoce?

First define which loads must be backed up and check the diagram, power and peaks, reserve SOC and backup equipment status. Then perform a controlled test following the applicable procedure and record voltage, power and events; enabling an option in the app is not enough.

Why might a backup option appear differently for an installer and an owner?

Visibility may depend on role, app version, firmware, region and plant configuration. Before assuming a fault, compare screenshots from both profiles and record the versions; support can confirm whether the function is available for that architecture.

What documentation should be sent before Atmoce commissioning?

Send the single-line diagram, models and serial numbers, firmware, phase distribution, photographs of power and communication wiring, meter or CT positions, backup loads and plant access or identification. This helps detect incompatibilities or installation errors before the session.
