Yes. An Atmoce battery can be added to a PV installation with any existing inverter, hybrid or non-hybrid, because storage integrates on the AC side. The inverter does not need to be replaced, but phases, power, metering, protection, backup and control strategy must be validated.

Storage has its own conversion stage and coordinates through the internal network and metering system.
3. Configure the goal
Self-consumption, time shifting, export limitation or backup are defined using real project data.
What must be checked
- Grid type, voltage, number of phases and available power.
- Model and power of the existing inverter, even though it does not need to be hybrid.
- Position, direction and phase matching of meters or CTs.
- Charge and discharge power, capacity and SOC reserve.
- Protection, zero export, generator and critical loads.
- Backup and transfer architecture when required.

Does the existing inverter need to be hybrid?
No. Atmoce integrates on the AC side, so it can be added to installations with hybrid or non-hybrid inverters.
Must the PV inverter be replaced?
Normally not. The existing inverter can be retained when the architecture, grid, protection and metering system are correctly validated.
Does Atmoce integrate into the existing inverter app?
Not necessarily. AC-side electrical compatibility does not imply native app or communications integration between manufacturers.
Can backup be added?
Yes, when the system is designed with the appropriate backup equipment, transfer arrangement, power and critical loads. Each installation must be validated.
