Integrated kit in its own ecosystem
It may make sense when inverter, battery, accessories, documentation and local support form a complete, verifiable solution.
How to compare a keenly priced battery or kit with Solis and Dyness solutions while preserving compatibility, warranty, documentation and professional support.
PnP can assess Dyness where a modular LFP battery with residential or commercial ranges is required, and Solis where the hybrid inverter, metering, battery, SolisCloud and backup are to be designed together. A Felicity Solar battery must not be replaced by another brand on voltage or capacity alone: BMS communication, current, firmware, protection and warranty must be confirmed.
A low-cost offer may be suitable if it meets all requirements. The difference appears when published compatibility, accessories, commissioning, spares or a clear support channel are missing.

Dyness has published batteries for several scales. Solis provides the inverter and management ecosystem. PnP can compare both routes against the same single-line diagram and goal.
| Criterion | Felicity Solar | Solis / Dyness |
|---|---|---|
| Existing inverter | Official list and exact equipment version must be checked. | Dyness may be assessed if approved; Solis may involve designing a complete system. |
| Support and commissioning | Depends on the supplier, installer and channel available in the market. | PnP provides professional supply, compatibility review and technical support according to scope. |
| Comparable cost | Must include every kit item, installation, taxes and warranty. | Prepared against the same power, capacity, backup and service goal. |
There is no universal replacement: being LFP or 48 V does not make two batteries interchangeable. Electrical compatibility does not guarantee BMS communication, control, warranty or backup.
Before choosing, compare battery, BMS, inverter, communications, protection, backup, accessories, installation, commissioning, warranty and support on the same basis.
The brand competes in a price-sensitive segment, but “cheap” alone does not describe installed cost, performance, support or warranty. A specific configuration must be compared.
No. Voltage alone is not enough. BMS protocol, cable, firmware, current, module limits and the configuration approved by both manufacturers must match.
PnP publishes configurations and kits, but each combination must be confirmed by model, firmware, voltage and current documentation. Brand alone does not guarantee compatibility.
Send us the inverter, power, phases, consumption, backup goal and battery being compared. Plug & Play Energy will prepare an equivalent option and identify what must be validated.
