Which battery can be connected?

The data sheet supports Huawei LUNA2000 from 5 to 30 kWh and LG RESU 7H_R/10H_R, subject to version, BMS and voltage.

Is extra equipment required for backup?

Yes. Isolated backup output requires the optional Backup Box-B0 and the design must respect the 5 kVA limit.

How is the PV array sized?

The general recommendation is up to 7.5 kWp; check the 600 V maximum, 90-560 V MPPT range, 12.5 A and 18 A Isc.
