Aiko FAQ for installers and professionals

Selection, electrical design, shading, mounting, handling, documentation and warranty criteria for Aiko modules.

Professional scope. The answers support professional review but do not replace the exact product datasheet, manual, structural calculation or electrical design.

Diagnosis, selection and documentation

What should be checked before comparing Aiko modules?

Exact reference, power, dimensions, Voc, Isc, thermal coefficients, loads, connectors, warranty and market documentation.

Does higher efficiency alone determine the module?

No. Format, usable area, electrical design, mounting, loads, logistics and total system cost also matter.

How is the string designed?

Using Voc corrected for minimum temperature, module current, module count and the MPPT or inverter voltage and current limits.

Can shading behaviour be generalised?

No. The reference, shade geometry, string, inverter and any optimisers must be assessed.

How is the warranty confirmed?

With the current datasheet and terms for the exact reference, country, date, installation and registration requirements.

What must be checked in the mounting system?

Dimensions, weight, orientation, clamp zones, site loads, spacing, clamp compatibility and mounting documentation.

Can connectors from different manufacturers be mixed?

It must not be assumed. Only combinations explicitly authorised and compatible under manufacturer, regulatory and project documentation may be used.

How should a module be handled?

Following manufacturer packaging, unloading, storage, lifting and handling instructions, avoiding stress, impact and support on boxes or cables.
