The Victron Energy Multiplus 48/1600 combines a powerful pure wave inverter and a sophisticated battery charger in a single device. This inverter charger operates on 48V systems and delivers 1600VA of power with a peak of 2800W.

The Energy Meter can be used for these things:
1. grid meter, and used as a control input for an ESS System (1).
2. Measuring the output of a photovoltaic inverter.
3. Measuring the output of an AC generator set.
The meter is connected to the Color Control GX. There are two options for its wiring:
1. direct connection, using the RS485 to USB interface with a 1.8 m long cable, or the 5.0 m long cable.
2. Wireless connection via Zigbee

The Victron EM24 Ethernet is a standard device for measuring the power and energy of a three-phase application, for example in the distribution box or for measuring the output of a PV inverter, an AC generator or an inverter or inverter/charger.
